CAPE

What is CAPE?

Here is the answer to one of the most frequently asked questions at our school:

The Cathedral Association of Parents and Educators (CAPE) is an organization whose purpose is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational, spiritual and social environment of St. Peter Cathedral School. Its goals are to complement the school with additional opportunities for parents, teachers and students to learn, socialize, communicate and grow.

We are the heart and soul of the school!

Historically, the CAPE dues and fundraising monies have gone towards things such as:

  • running the Ice Cream Social
  • youth ministry activities
  • meals for teachers during conferences
  • teacher Christmas gifts
  • presents for the 8th graders upon graduation
  • contributions to the Dukes Boosters and Lego League
  • organizing the Parish Picnic at Waldemeer
  • and so much more...

This year, we hope to expand on this list to become an even more active part in our school.

However, we cannot do this without your help. Take a look at our ambitious Calendar of Events. These are the plans we have for the 2011-2012 school year. Each has a brief description of the event as well as where volunteers may be needed.

Please review the list, consider offering to help, and complete this form. Without you, we will not be able to meet our goals!
