Objectives of Physical Education:

1. Psychomotor Objectives - Physical fitness, which includes nutrition, health habits, exercise, and the development of body control and coordination.

2. Cognitive Objectives - The accumulation of knowledge, the ability to think, evaluate, make judgements, and interpret that knowledge.

3. Affective Objectives - The development of traits such as the individual's values, attitudes, ideals, and interests.

Up-Coming Events:

  • Kindergarten - Fruit Salad game involving listening skills and gross motor movement
  • Grades 1 & 2 - Basic Soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting.  Students will also be tested in shoe tying ability
  • Grades 3 & 4 - Further development of Soccer skills and team work
  • Grades 5 & 6 - Soccer strategies and positions
  • Grades 7 & 8 - Soccer games with utilizations and skills

  POWERSCHOOL GRADING EXPLANATIONS

  • FGC - Forgot gym clothes
  • EX-M - Excused medical
  • EX-P - Excused parental
  • NR - Not recorded - If a child forgets his/her gym clothes, or is excused from class you will see an NR by that catergory which means it does not count against your childs grade.
