WELCOME TO THE 5A and 5B COMBINED WEBPAGE!

This site is for the parents and fifth grade students to check on upcoming events and homework for the school year. Students' first and foremost duty is to complete their assignment books correctly, based on the teachers' oral directions as well as the assignment board, located in the classroom and filled in every day. If a student is absent and a call is placed to the office first thing in the morning, a study buddy will gather what is needed and write assignnments for that student, which will be placed in the office at the end of the day for pick up, or sent to another student of your choice to be brought home. We cannot be responsible for any homework called in after lunchtime, because students will not be in homeroom and will not have time to get assignments ready for the office. The teachers do not normally check assignment books, but we do make sure assignments are going on the board for students to check their own daily.  In the event that there is no time (due to assembly or pep rally)to write the assignments that day, the teacher or specified student may read assignments aloud for the rest of the class to check their books.
